Jhonny Lever and Priyadarshan worked together for the first time.ġ1. Paisa Paisa's song was sung by Manak-E a Punjabi singer. He had sung this song a few years back in his Punjabi album. On request of Akshay Kumar, the song was re-composed and re-released with a mix Hindi-Punjabi lyrics by RDB. The decision was made to use Paisa Paisa as the film's theme song due to it being light and up-tempo. It was also sampled in the song "Mitran De Haath Farkay" from the Album D-Unit /Asian Flava Volume 2.
The original inspiration of the song was from the Pakistani film Haibat Khan. The song was titled "I Love You Love Keh Gayi Re".ġ2.
