Just like themes, templates can be downloaded, and we have just the article that lists the best server templates for Discord to help you save time. Themes just change the visual appearance of the server, but if you are looking to set up your server a certain way, you need to use templates. You can download themes created by other users and also create your own and share them with the community. With custom themes, you can change background images, icons, colors, popouts, etc., using CSS. Themes are used to change Discord’s appearance completely.

However, no matter plugin it is, but ANY plugin I will put in the plugin folder.this will also insta crash discord and it will keep crashing each time until I remove the plugin again.Ĭan anyone help? Such a frustrating thing that I know that a great combi is out there, but I'm back to using the owh so limited basic discord.7) Wrapping Up Best Discord Themes What are Discord Themes? Recently I got horizontal server theme working again. Without BD, then discord just works - I am able to install BD with empty theme/plugin folders, discord then works - This was as far as I got for a while, since any theme or plugin would insta crash discord until I removed the theme/plugin from the folder again.

I have deleted/repaired/reinstalled discord and BD so many times again to start with a clean slate, but even tho I'm not sure how, things seem beyond repair. Then one day it crashed and I never was able to get things working again. I have not been using BD for very long, but I had a few weeks where I REALLY enjoyed the combi of horizontalServer theme and a few plugins. Navigate to the folder labeled 'BetterDiscord' inside the file explorer window that appears. Press the button labeled 'OK' in the window. Paste in appdata in the 'Open' textbox inside the window that appears. Open the 'Run' menu by pressing Win+R on your keyboard

Quit Discord by focusing on the Discord window and pressing Alt+F4 Look for any files that look anything like '' or anything you know is a library. Paste in ~/Library/Application Support/BetterDiscord/plugins to the box that appears and press enter. Quit Discord from your dock by right-clicking it and pressing 'Quit' from the list that appears. I have listed instructions for doing this on MacOS and Windows below. The easiest fix for this is to remove your plugins from your file explorer. This should clear everything up but comment below if you need any more help. I will also note that this is NOT Discord intentionally blocking BetterDiscord as they very frankly do not care about people using it (Mainly because there's no money involved). What I do know is that this update has been conflicting with some plugin libraries and causing you to crash upon some actions (Going all the way up to crashing upon loading). BetterDiscord has recently pushed an update which changes some aspects of it which I'm not completely sure of.
